Ottawa - a beautiful "city" - quiet and peaceful while still have enough vibrant and energy from the people living here. I like the City. It is very different from LAX, Singapore, Hong Kong.,.... and none of the least Tokyo (the living hell!)

The car of new friend Frank Papineau who is talented content producer (but it was not the gentlemen inside the car), indeed the gentlemen was from Denmark and he loved the car so much that he want to take a photo inside. By the way, I am in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada at this moment 

As having 2 young kids, we got a room 116 on the ground floor (such that kids won't fall from balcony. Ended up it was a pretty pleasure choice as it can walk to the pool, with garden view as well as partial sea view...  

The hotel where we stayed in Sentosa. Good service but the hotel is pretty old.... and it cost US$170+++ per night and I felt that it is a bit over charge 

Almost away for 1 month

Several reasons for this, one is very busy then on family vacation (and agreed that I don't put up my notebook computer - except downloading the photo from the SD card and memorysticks). Yes, I have the small DC (Digitial Camera) from Casio though 4M pixels which the good thing about it is to take several hundreds of photos without recharge it. And 4M is more than enough to be shared via the Picasa on the screen of gift CD. Indeed, I still have the SONY PC120E with me which deliver 1.55M pixels photo which already good enough to do the Picasa as well as the 4R printing!! [start not understand why people need to get a 7.1M pixel unless they are professional photographer but with the non very professional optical component!] Indeed, the new JVC 3CCD harddisk based DV/DC attract me but I shall wait a bit until the price drop to US$1000 level and getting the new SONY Ericcson W750i or W800i which comes with 2M pixels which can replace multiple gadget that I have to carry nowaday.

Other reason was my bookmark was accidentally erased by Firefox upgrade and indeed, I have not contained the damage yet. For the usergroup and information that I have put related SONY PSP were gone!

For the choice between new Wintel or Mac Tiger, sorry to both, indeed, what I had decided (or indeed my wife did) is to reduce number of machine at home. So, we shall give away our Pentium 2 running Windows 98, move my Pentium 3 1G for my daughter while my wife and I continue to use our Centrino 1.6G and 900M respective... Yes I had bought my computer earlier back in Aug 2003 Fujitsu P5010 and only have 900MHz horse power even though I stuffed 512MRAM.. still running very slow for the video editing stuff and lack of harddisk after I put the Xandos Linux as dual boost, a step to move away from Microsoft!! Don't get me wrong, we pay for the annual license to Microsoft and I insisted that all software used in office and even home MUST have valid license in order to support our IT/Software industries, and I wish everyone can start to do so.

Anyhow, the time spent in once place will be distrubed soon as I shall take a North America trip in mid this week. Perhaps it may give me some more time to update the BLOG if the broadband is available... guess what, based on my personnal experience which may be wrong, US hotel indeed is way behind than Asia and much more expensive....
